Well, you can get the red mallet that's leaning against the railing in the shadows. Go to the back of the boat (take care of the guy smoking back there first) and take a look at the locked staircase just above you. Flimsy-looking lock, isn't it? The henchman up top will have his back to you, which is just fine if you're going up to take out the guy in the boiler room. So go up behind him, climb the smokestack, and dump in the chemical. Now to get his attention away from the front deck, you see that tiny alarm clock on the left when you get up the stairs? (It's tiny, but it's there.) Wind it up, go back downstairs, and wait on the side of the boat for it to go off. When the henchman investigates the clock, you can run out on the front deck and grab the journal and diving helmet. Not much of a "hint," I know, but I can't be vague about it and make sense. |
