Okay, here's the deal. You want to direct the current from the top left red square to the bottom right red square. Sounds easy, huh? Not really. I'm going to explain this as simply as I can without giving the answer away. (This is one of those puzzles I figured out on my own. I am NOT the most brilliant puzzle-solver.) Keep in mind that there is NO TIME LIMIT on this puzzle. So don't panic. Take a look at the other squares on the grid, the ones that have the thicker blue-gray borders. Not counting the red ones, there's 23 in total, in five neat rows. See 'em? Good. These are the squares that you CAN'T TURN. Try messing with the squares in between them - the ones that are empty. (This counts as an ACTION. What key do we use for an ACTION?) Interesting... notice how you can CONNECT the joints using the empty squares? Now every time you add a segment to the path, that number at the bottom left gets smaller. That number shows you how many more segments you can create in the path. Lastly, notice those two static squares with the red buttons? Maybe it's just my imagination, but I'm betting you're going to have to direct the current through BOTH of them. (Fortunately, you can have the path go in and out any direction you want from them.) Take all of these details into account, and you should be able to figure out what to do. |
