        Part one of three. A secret government agency "harvests" the brain of Michael Wiseman after he is involved in a tragic accident, and transplants it into an "omnipotent" body. The only catch is one that he can't deal with: he can never have contact with his family or friends again.

        Theo runs into a fellow scientist, Freddie Lizzard, who was a classmate in college. Lizzard, who's in the business of "farming" organs illegally, takes a special interest in Michael. Roger lets Lisa list his wife's house for sale... and in doing so, jeopardizes his marriage.

        All of the print on every document in New York City begins to fade and disappear - including the print on some old love letters that Michael wrote to Lisa. Theo is sent to investigate... but it just may be his fault.

        Season finale. The Asian terrorist known as the Eggman plots his escape from prison - and his revenge against Michael; Lisa learns that Michael wasn't killed instantly, as she had been told, but was still alive when he arrived at the hospital; Roger goes house hunting and discovers he's the one being hunted by a flirtatious realtor.
